We want your experience at Bear Bailey's Co-op & Grocery to be as warm and easy as a good book on a rainy day. Here are answers to our most frequently asked shopping questions.

What is the difference between hardcover and paperback?

Hardcover editions feature a rigid cover and are built to last — perfect for gifting or adding to a permanent collection. Paperback editions are lightweight and more affordable, ideal for everyday reading. Both contain the complete, unabridged story.

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping typically takes 5–7 business days within the United States. Expedited options may be available at checkout. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

We are working on expanding our shipping options. Please check back soon or contact us directly and we will do our best to help!

Can I return or exchange a book?

We want you to love your purchase! If there is an issue with your order — damage, incorrect item, or a defect — please reach out to us within 14 days of delivery and we will make it right. Because books are a personal item, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes! Gift wrapping is complimentary. Simply leave a note at checkout letting us know you'd like your order gift wrapped, and we'll take care of the rest. 🎁

Can I get a signed copy?

Yes! We'd love to personalize your book. At checkout, leave a note in the order notes with the name you'd like it signed to, and we'll sign it before it ships. A perfect touch for a gift or a keepsake! 🐾
